Future Initial Billing and Recurring Orders

When submitting a future initial billing and/or recurring order on our Virtual Terminal, we have two reports that provide information on these transactions.
Future Initial Billing

To review your future initial billing transactions, head to the Reporting dropdown menu and choose Future Billing Report. From there, all initial billing transactions and their subsequent (second) transaction details will appear. The entry date serves as the date when you’ve submitted a transaction into the Virtual Terminal whereas the Future Billing Date informs you when the transaction will process.
The Next Billing Date provides the next, subsequent date in which the recurring transaction will process. All other details such as the customer/company’s name and Order ID appear for reference.
Meanwhile, for any subsequent transactions after the initial billing, the Recur Report provides these in an itemized perspective.

Recur Report
The Recur Report can be access by going to the Reporting dropdown menu and choosing Recur Report. Once you access this report, an itemized view of subsequent, recurring transaction(s) appears including the next billing date, dollar amount and number of recurring transactions for the date in question.
By clicking on the next billing date, you will be brought to a page displaying the specific, recurring transaction(s) for this date as shown below.

Here, you will see the specifics pertaining to the order including the order number, dollar amount, and customer/company’s name.
Reviewing these reports helps with understanding the schedule of any recurring transaction(s) and future transaction(s) submitted on our Virtual Terminal.
If you need to change the date of the future initial billing, please refer to the instructions on page 8. However, it is important to make these adjustments ahead of the transaction and the cutoff times referred on page 6.
