Transaction Fee Report: How to Find and Use This Report

Of the many features with the Actum Portal, the Transaction Fee Report provides in depth information about processing fees for an Actum account. In many ways, this report takes all the hassle of reconciling fees and processing activities away from merchants.
In this article, instructions are provided on how to access the Transaction Fee Report.
1. Log into the Actum Portal by going to https://merchant.actumprocessing.com. Refer to the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): How to Use via Actum Portal article for further login instructions.
2. On the left side menu, select Reports and choose Charges and Fees.

3. Click on Date Range dropdown to review transactions from a specific time period. For all transactions submitted since January 1st, choose YTD (year-to-date).

4. Select the Submit button.

5. After the report populates, an overview of the Transaction Fees can be found by its specific Pay Period Start and End dates. In this case, take note of the following.

- Base Number:Â This references the number of submitted transactions in a given pay period.
- Percentage Rate:Â Typically, this is the Discount Rate seen on a Final Exhibit B for merchants with a pricing model of Discount Rate + Per Transaction Rate (i.e., 2% X $0.85 per transaction).
- Pertrans Rate: On this occasion, this refers to the per transaction rate such as the Per Transaction Rate seen on a Final Exhibit B.
- Fee Amount:Â This will typically consist of the Percentage Rate multiplied by the Base Amount (i.e., $83.25 X 2%).
- Pertrans Amount:Â In this case, this is the Pertrans Rate multiplied by the Base Number.
- Fee Total by Rate Type:Â This refers to the total fee amount assessed in a given pay period.
- Base Number:Â This references the number of submitted transactions in a given pay period.
